Getting as close as the camera would allow, I wanted to be able to capture the detail of this plant, especially its fuzzy white seeds, which were coming out of the pods at the top of the plant, some holding on, others taken away by the wind. This short video clip is made up of dozens of pictures of this one plant, from the view point of a lady bug.

In a previous experiment recording audio, I stumbled across a unique noise coming from this corn field. Something I would have never realized before.. Now with a camera I wanted to have a closer look. Viewing the object much more closely revealed a lot of detail and personality that would otherwise go unnoticed, especially with something so ordinary as corn.

I liked recording pine trees because of the forest of green and copper needles they become close up. In a couple of clips I took, I adjusted the aperture to let more light in which I thought had a cool effect.

I tried capturing the richness in color of this particular plant, getting as close to it as i could with the camera. With the camera set to capture very close up, I followed the plant up and down, seeing it from what would be a "bug's point of view."
